Nexus 3.0 comes with a few new features that necessitate the creation of a Nexus account. You do not have to create an account to use the Nexus client, but it does allow us to save some basic information that will improve your experience. Creating your account is quick and easy.
These features include:
- Saving characters lists for one-click log in.
- Offline (not logged in) editing of settings and reflexes.
- Saving non-IRE game world information and characters.
Character reflexes and settings are stored independently if you are playing an Iron Realms game and do not require a Nexus account. However, if you are playing a game that is not on the Iron Realms, you will have to create an account in order to save the information to our servers. If you are going to play games that are not IRE worlds, you will want to create a Nexus account.
How to Create a Nexus Account
Once the client loads up, click the button labelled "Create Account". It is located in the bottom left corner of the client.
You will then be directed to an account creation screen. You create an account using your email address and password.
Once your account is created you can log in to the client by clicking the "Login to Nexus" button located in the bottom left corner of the client.
