You may access the Display options by opening the setting menu and clicking on the Display Options button. The settings menu may be accessed by clicking on the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the Nexus client.
Display Elements
- Tooltips: Hide or display tooltips when hovering over parts of the main client window.
- Compass (web/desktop): Display the movement compass when using the web or desktop version of the Nexus client.
- Compass (mobile): Display the movement compass when using the mobile version of the Nexus client.
- Gauges: Display character stat gauges (health, mana, etc) in the Nexus client.
- Buttons: Display buttons in the Nexus client. F1 keys will continue to work, even if the buttons are toggled off.
- Balances: Display the Balance and Equilibrium icons in the Nexus client.
- Avatar: Display your character avatar in the Nexus client.
- Notifications: The client will send notifications to your OS if it is not in focus.
- Extra Padding: Each line in the output window will have a little extra padding below it. For some people, this makes them easier to read.
- Item Numbers: Display items number in the Inventory and Room Info windows.
- Room Descs: Display room descriptions in the Room Info window.
- Help Popups: When using the HELP command, the client will display the output in a new, pop-up window.
- Timestamps: Display timestamps next to every line sent from the game in the output window.
- Scrollback Timestamps: Display timestamps next to every line sent from the game in the scrollback window. This is only when using a split screen.
- Prompt Lines: Display the prompt information between every line in the output window.
- Last Prompt: Display the prompt on the last line only.
- Reveal Map: Display all the rooms in the map, even if you have not explored them yet.
Output
These options primarily deal with how information in the output window is displayed.
Echo Commands
Echo commands I enter to the output window
This option will display all commands you enter in the output window. In addition, you may set the color of the command.
Echo Targets
Echo target change
Whenever you change mob or player targets via the tab or shift+tab keyboard commands, that change will be displayed in the output window. In addition, you may set the color of the target change message.
Hide Chat
Hide all chat messages in the main window if they are shown in another tab
Toggle this option on, if you only want communication to be displayed in communication windows.
Display Font and Font Size
You may set the type of font and the size that is used in the output buffer.
The display font only applies to text in the output and communication windows. The font size will adjust all text in the Nexus client.
